We have created briefings containing information about our Eating Disorders Awareness Week 2022 Worth more than 2 hours campaign and our other key policy asks. They can be used by your elected representatives in each nation of the UK to help them call for governments to take action.
Health Education England has commissioned Beat to write a training package on eating disorders for current GPs. The training has been co-produced with GPs working within eating disorder services as well as GPs who have lived experience of an eating disorder. We hope that this vital training resource will ensure current GPs have a thorough understanding of eating disorders, a comprehensive ‘tool-kit’ to physically monitor patients and knowledge around making appropriate referrals.
